Bio: During the course of the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she went from shy brainiac wallflower to deadly brainiac Wiccan and one of the most powerful “normal” people in a cast of characters brimming with demons, vamps, and werewolves. Oh yeah, and halfway through the series she came to terms with her sexuality, making her a positive role model for other young gay and lesbian teens.
Strength:Before becoming a witch she was a not-too-shabby computer hacker. However, once she got into the dark arts, with its dubious ingredients and rites she took down bambi and flayed misogynists alive.
Weakness:Half-off sales at Barnes & Nobles, homo-erotic love ballads with the word "swell", goofy pink sweaters.
Exemplary Jewish Value: Willow’s journey shows that you’re more yourself when you’re honest about who you really are. This is true about being Jewish or being gay. On BtVS, she also had a rarely-seen mom who was a spoof of liberal baby boomer Jewish parents.
